1. Who we are

This website, www.pactasoft.com, is operated by PactaSoft, a company based in the United States (“PactaSoft”, “we”, “us”). PactaSoft is responsible for the personal information described in this notice and is the “controller” of it where data-protection laws use that term.

2. Scope

This notice covers this company website only. Our products have their own privacy notices, which apply when you use them:

3. What we collect

• When you browse: our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use this data to identify or profile you.
• When you email us: we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

This site has no forms, sets no cookies, and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so no other company receives your data when you browse.

4. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and continue a conversation you started. Our basis is your request and our legitimate interest in replying.
• To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website. Our basis is our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.
• To meet legal obligations where they apply.

We do not sell or rent personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Sharing and international transfers

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, such as Cloudflare for hosting and security and our email provider, or when the law requires it. PactaSoft is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and maintain the business relationship, and delete them no later than 24 months after our last contact unless the law requires a longer period. Cloudflare retains its technical logs according to its own retention schedule.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California and other US states, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• receive a portable copy;
• object to or restrict processing;
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@pactasoft.com. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS with modern security headers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information. To report a vulnerability, see our security contact.

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
